About Lucy
Lucy is a trusted employment lawyer who provides cost- effective, solution-focused and reliable legal advice to employers and employees.
Lucy is a senior litigation lawyer. She has practiced in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Sydney. Her areas of practice include employment and health and safety law. She has worked in law firms, as in-house counsel, as a barrister, as an independent judicial officer and a member of statutory boards. In these roles, she has gained excellent private and public sector experience. Lucy was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand in 1999 and in New South Wales in 2005.

As former WorkSafe lawyer, Lucy gained considerable expertise in regulatory prosecutions and providing legal assistance to workplace investigations.
Lucy was counsel in the largest and one of the most complex health and safety prosecutions taken by WorkSafe. She has appeared as counsel in the District Court, High Court and in coronial inquests. Lucy is a former Crown prosecutor and has also conducted ACC review hearings as an independent assessor.
